Brynbanc Lodge is a luxurious romantic cottage near Narberth in south Pembrokeshire, providing superbly spacious open plan accommodation of outstanding quality. This newly converted stone barn is on a working farm within half an hour of Tenby and Saundersfoot, less than 20 minutes from Amroth beach and only 5 minutes from Narberth’s unique selection of delicatessens, independent shops, boutiques and places to eat.
South Pembrokeshire offers endless opportunities for walking, sightseeing and exploring the gorgeous coastal scenery. Visit the castles of Carew, Picton and Pembroke; walk the renowned Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, the Knights’ Way pilgrims’ route or the historical Miners Walk; stroll through the National Trust’s Colby Woodland Gardens to Amroth beach; wander the walled medieval town of Tenby and take the boat to visit the monastery on Caldey Island.
Days spent on Pembrokeshire’s golden beaches can be lazy or active: try kayaking, surfing or coasteering. Closer to home, guests are invited to enjoy walking our farmland (over 50 acres), meeting our animals and sitting peacefully on the banks of our lake.
Brynbanc Lodge sleeps 2 plus an infant in a beautiful bedroom with green oak beams on a mezzanine floor overlooking the lounge. It is furnished with a king size oak bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and dressing table. The sparkling red en suite shower room has a large luxury shower enclosure, hand basin and toilet.
The stylish and spacious ground floor is open plan with exposed oak beams and solid oak staircase: it definitely has the wow factor! The lounge area is a comfortable and relaxing space with two large squashy leather sofas, TV/DVD and a wood burning stove.
The large oak kitchen is fabulous, beautifully equipped with an electric Aga cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer and Belfast sink set beneath a sunny window. There is also an oak dining table and chairs.
A stable door leads to the outside area which is laid with gravel and provided with garden furniture.
